SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO TO AEROSPACE FORUM IN TIJUANA, MEXICO

The show organizers are offering a free Shuttle service for visitors of the 1st International Aerospace Forum, the service provider being used is MEXICOACH (Picture 1).
The shuttle schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, March 17th.
Depart: 7am.
Return: 4pm
Thursday, March 18th.
Depart: 7am.
Return: 4pm

The shuttle will depart from the Santa Fe Trolley Station (Picture 2, map below with locations marked with letter A in red) located in Downtown San Diego.
In case the Departure time does not suit your schedule, the next best option is to take a taxi and ask the driver to drop you off at the UETA Duty Free Shop in San Ysidro; the drive down could take anywhere from 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Once at the UETA Duty Free Shop (Picture 3) in San Ysidro you should see the Border a few yards ahead of you as well as a turnstile that leads into Mexico (Picture 4).

CROSSING INTO MEXICO
Once across the 1st turnstile, continue going down this path straight past the Customs offices to your left and you will come to a 2nd set of turnstiles.

Once across you will see many cab drivers offering their services as well as many yellow cabs (Picture 5). If you wish, you can take one of these taxis directly to the Grand Hotel.
We spoke with the yellow taxis office in order to confirm rates from the border to the Grand Hotel; the rate is approximately $5usd but is subject to change without notice.

The drive from the border to the Grand Hotel (Picture 6) should take at the most 15-20 minutes (again depending on traffic).
